Breeding
Introduction
Nests on crevices on cliffs and roadcuts, and under the eaves of buildings (Ridgely and Tudor 1989, Fjeldså andKrabbe 1990). When nesting in natural crevices, the swallows may dig or enlarge the hole themselves, "breaking the surface with their bills and scraping or pushing the earth away with their feet" (Johnson 1967). The eggs are white with brown spots (Turner and Rose 1989). There is no information on the length of incubation or the nestling stage.
Breeds in Bolivia from December-March.
