Diet and Foraging
Diet
The stomach contents of the type specimen were described as including insects (Sclater and Salvin 1879). This species is among the many species of Grallaria that have been trained to show up and receive food at worm-feeding stations (Woods et al. 2011, Greeney 2012; see Behavior).
