Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Overall, Black-cheeked Warbler has a research priority of medium (Parker et al. 1996). Little is known about the mating system, territoriality, sexual behavior, or predation of this species. There have been few or no historical changes observed, and the fossil history is largely nonexistent. There is no information available about age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
