Sounds and Vocal Behavior
Vocalizations
The foraging call of Bronze-tailed Comet is "a dry, rapid chatter: tcht or tchtcht" (Lane, in Schulenberg et al. 2010). A possible song is a short trill that rises in pitch and then descends, the rate also slowing towards the end.
For a representative audio recording with sonogram, see audio
There are very few audio recordings of Bronze-tailed Comet; additional audio recordings can be heard at xeno-canto and at Internet Bird Collection.
