Breeding
Introduction
There is very little information on the breeding of Coppery-chested Jacamar. Other species of Galbula nest in a burrow in the ground; one nest burrow of Coppery-chested Jacamar was 1.5 m above the ground on a bank, and the burrow was at least 50 cm deep and curved (Poulsen and Webe 1994).
