Relatively little information. The nest is of a bulky structure of twigs and leaves high in a tree. Breeding in Costa Rica is from March-June (Stiles and Skutch 1989). The normal clutch size is most likely two eggs, which are dull white and approximately 75 by 51 mm. The incubation period captivity is 26 days (Taibel 1957, cited by Delacour and Amadon 1973).
