Behavior

Introduction

Dark-billed Cuckoos usually are perch at mid heights in trees or shrubs, but occasionally enter the open. Like other species of Coccyzus, Dark-billed Cuckoos often are quiet and inconspicuous. They also enjoy sunbathing and dustbathing (Sick 1993).
