Breeding
Introduction
There is very little information on the reproductive biology of Dwarf Vireo. A male was collected from a nest "with eggs" in Guanajuato on 17 June (Miller et al. 1957). Similarly a male was collected from a nest containing one egg on 4 June in Oaxaca (Binford 1989). In neither of these cases, however, were the nest and eggs described. Nests are sited "at low to mid-levels in tree or bush" (Howell and Webb 1995). Presumably the nest is similar to that of other species of vireo, and is a cup suspended from a slender branch.
