Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Long-term studies and simultaneous sampling of the use by Flammulated Flycatchers of available habitats (dry vs humid forests; secondary forest) across seasons is required, to better understand the spatial and temporal distribution of a species that historically was regarded as sedentary (Vega Rivera et al. 2011). Additional research on the ecology and breeding biology of this poorly understood species is crucial for conservation planning (Vega Rivera et al. 2011).
