Introduction
Golden-breasted Puffleg has a relatively restricted distribution, and, although it is locally common, its natural history is very poorly known. The range of flowering plants visited by Golden-breasted Puffleg is not described, and there also is very little known about its breeding biology. Other unknown aspects of its natural history include whether or not it undertakes any elevational movements, its territoriality, and demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
