Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Gould's Jewelfront is very widespread in Amazonia, but is uncommon and most aspects of its natural history are very poorly known. There is almost nothing known about its diet and reproductive biology, and nothing is known about its tolerance for habitat disturbance. Nothing is known about demographic factors such as population density, life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation for Gould's Jewelfront.
