Breeding
Introduction
Very little information. The nest and eggs of Gray-crowned Woodpecker are undescribed; presumably nests in cavities in trees, as do most other species of Colaptes. Specimens in breeding condition were collected in March and April, including a female that had laid eggs by late March (Short 1983).
