Behavior

Introduction

There is little information on the behavior of Green-striped Brush-Finch. This species forages primarily on or near the ground in dense cover (Schaldach 1963, Howell and Webb 1995), and advancing with hops.

Territoriality

There are no published data on territorial defense, maintenance, or fidelity, or for territory or home range size, for Green-striped Brush-Finch.

Sexual Behavior

Not described; presumably is monogamous.

Social and interspecific behavior

Green-striped Brush-Finch usually is solitary or in pairs (Howell and Webb 1995).
