Introduction
Hooded Tinamou is widely distributed and, at least locally, is fairly common. This denizen of humid forest is difficult to observe, however, and is very poorly known. There is essentially no information available on the diet or reproductive biology of this species. There is less known about such topics as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, molts, territoriality and population density, and sexual behavior for Hooded Tinamou.
