Diet and Foraging

Diet

Johnson's Tody-Flycatcher is insectivorous, but there is very little is known about the details of its diet. The only identified prey item was a hymenopteran, ca 0.5 cm long, captured by a tody-flycatcher; this hymenopteran was beaten repeatedly against a branch before being consumed (T.J. Davis, in Johnson and Jones 2001).
