Priorities for Future Research
Introduction
Laughing Falcon is one of more studied tropical raptors, although there still are few detailed studies of its biology. There are indications, from a single site, of greater dietary plasticity in disturbed habitats compared to birds in mature forest, but this suggestion requires confirmation from additional sites. The little information available regarding territoriality and home range size indicate remarkable variation, even at a single size; more research is recommended to better document the density of this species, at and between different sites.
