Introduction

The total, global population size of Montezuma Oropendola has not been quantified, but it is thought to be stable and "very large", in the range of 50,000-499,999 individuals (Partners in Flight estimate, cited by BirdLife International 2016). Montezuma Oropendola usually is considered to be common. There is no information available on age at first breeding, survivorship, parasitism, or population regulation for Montezuma Oropendola.
