Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Oaxaca Sparrow has a restriced geographic distribution, and can be difficult to observe in the thick scrub that it inhabits. Its diet and reproductive biology are almost completely unknown. Other important areas for investigation include age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, territoriality and population density.
