Conservation

Ochre-bellied Flycatcher has an extremely large geographic range and a very large population. Consequently its IUCN Red List conservation status is evaluated as "Least Concern" (Birdlife International 2013).

Effects of human activity on populations

As is true of all bird species that primarily inhabit forested habitats, Ochre-bellied Flycatcher is vulnerable to habitat loss or degradation.
