Diet and Foraging

Diet

Lowery and Tallman (1976) reported stomach contents consisted primarily of insects. Four stomachs examined in detail contained remains of four orders of insects (Coleoptera, Diptera, Homoptera and Lepidoptera) and a spider, along with a little plant matter. Witt and Lane (in press) found small insects in two specimens.
