Priorities for Future Research
Introduction
More research needs to focus on understanding the population density and demography of Razor-billed Curassow; there is little information on these topics, and the available data are in conflict. Similarly, there is a need for more complete understanding of the hunting pressure on the curassow, its responses to habitat fragmentation, and a survey to establish from how much of its historical range it has been extirpated.
