Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Rufous-webbed Brilliant is widely distributed, although it often is uncommon, and its natural history is very poorly known. Particularly poorly known are its reproductive biology and foraging ecology. Future studies also should focus on its ability to persist in areas suffering different levels of habitat degradation and fragmentation. Finally, very little is known about demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation for Rufous-webbed Brilliant.
