Priorities for Future Research
Introduction
Parker et al. (1996) list the research priority for the Saffron-billed Sparrow as low compared to other Neotropical birds. Nonetheless, nothing is known about their molt, mating behavior, or population size and dynamics. Additionally, accounts of nesting and food habits for Saffron-billed Sparrow are based on small sample sizes, and would benefit from additional study.
