Breeding
Introduction
Little is known about Socorro Dove reproduction in the wild. In captivity, females lay two small, white eggs in a nest box and incubate them for 14-17 days. The young fledge between 14 and 20 days after hatching. In the wild, breeding typically began in early May. Socorro Doves mate for life.
