Introduction
The life history of Spotted Nothura is relatively well known. Nonetheless there is little information on its territoriality and home range size and population regulation. More quantitative data would be useful to assess the effects of hunting and trapping on this species, and of the effects of the conversion of original habitats to agricultural landscapes.
