Conservation
Conservation Status
Streak-headed Woodcreeper has a very large geographic range, and its population trend is believed to be stable. Consequently its IUCN Red List conservation status is evaluated as Least Concern (BirdLife International 2015). This species is common throughout most of its range, although it is less common at higher elevation levels (Marantz et al. 2003).
Effects of human activity on populations
Streak-headed Woodcreeper tolerates secondary forest, forest edge and open habitats. As these habitats are often a result of human-altered environments, this species is less sensitive to human activity than other woodcreepers (Marantz et al. 2003).
