Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Many aspects of the Streak-headed Woodcreeper’s breeding biology are understudied, including maintenance of pair bonds, consistency of territory boundaries between breeding seasons, cavity-sharing with heterospecifics, and courtship display characteristics.

In addition to this, studies regarding this species’ molt, predation, and participation in mixed species foraging flocks would provide needed insight into the life history of the Streak-headed Woodcreeper.
