Conservation

The Striped Cuckoo is widely distributed, and usually is considered to be fairly common to common across its range (e.g., Hilty and Brown 1986: Colombia; Ridgely and Gwynne 1989: Panama; Howell and Webb 1995: Mexico; Hilty 2003: Venezuela; Schulenberg et al. 2007: Peru). Although its global population size has not been estimated, the Striped Cuckoo is listed as a species of  "Least Concern" by BirdlLife International (2008).
