Behavior

Introduction

Very little information. Primarily forages on the ground, where it flicks leaf litter with the bill, and probes and gleans from the ground (Fjeldså and Krabbe 1990, Remsen 2003). Occasionally forages in Polylepis trees, where it probes crevices in the bark (Fjeldså and Krabbe 1990).

Often carries the tail half-cocked (Fjeldså and Krabbe 1990).
