Introduction

The Striated Earthcreeper is widely distributed and is fairly common across its range, and many sites where it occurs are readily accessible. Nonetheless, most aspects of its natural history are very poorly known. There is very little information on its diet or nesting behavior, for example, and no information on such topics as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, molts, territoriality and population density, and sexual behavior.
