Demography and Populations
Introduction
Populations of Striped Sparrow appear to be relatively large and stable (BirdLife International 2015). Parker et al. (1996) categorize this species as fairly common relative to other Neotropical birds, but note that this species may require monitoring for potential population changes. No information is currently available on the age at first breeding, lifespan, survivorship, parasitism, or population regulation for Striped Sparrow.
