Sounds and Vocal Behavior
Vocalizations
No song of Tacarcuna Chlorospingus has been recorded. The few known recordings of calls of Tacarcuna Chlorospingus all are similar. This call (recorded in Panamá on Cerro Chucantí, XC164779 and on Cerro Jefe, Panamá, ML51648; and in Colombia on Cerro Tacarcuna, Chocó, XC184939) consists of a single high pitched tseeeu! (Hilty 2011), which can be repeated as series of two or more calls while foraging.
There are very few known audio recordings of vocalizations of Tacarcuna Chlorospingus; examples can be heard at Macaulay Library and at xeno-canto.
