Priorities for Future Research

Introduction

Tawny-breasted Tinamou is widely distributed, but is difficult to observe and is very poorly known. There is almost no information available on the diet or reproductive biology of this species, much less on such topics as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, molts, territoriality and population density, and sexual behavior.
