Introduction
Although several papers have reported on the reproductive biology of Tawny Antpitta, much remains unknown; given the ease with which nests of this antpitta can be found, and the relatively open habitat in which this species occurs, it would make an ideal subject for large studies on reproductive biology (Greeney and Martin 2005). Such studies could easily include radio-tracking or satellite tracking, options unlikely to work on antpitta species of densely canopied forests.
