Effects of human activity on populations

Thick-billed Vireo uses disturbed habitats, although they are often at a lower density in disturbed habitats than in native habitats. It has been speculated that their apparant preference for scrub-type habitats may make them vulnerable to anthropogenic disturbance (Montambault 2007).
