Priorities for Future Research
Introduction
There currently are no targeted conservation actions underway to protect White-browed Antpitta or its habitat (BirdLife International 2014). Ecological studies to determine the exact type of habitat required by this species, and understand its level of tolerance to disturbance, therefor, are of top priority. It will also be important to survey known localities and implement regular monitoring studies to determine population trends and rates of range contraction. Studies of its diet, reproductive ecology, and population density also are warranted.
