Introduction

White-lored Warbler is a Colombian endemic songbird with a tiny range. Found only in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta of extreme northern Colombia, the species inhabits undergrowth of montane forest between 750 and 2200 meters in elevation. White-lored Warbler is similar in appearance to Russet-crowned Warbler (Myiothlypis coronata), being olive above and yellow below with a gray head marked with a yellow coronal patch, white supraloral area, and black lores. It is considered to be Near Threatened by the IUCN Red List due to ongoing deforestation for agricultural conversion within its range.
