SPECIES

White-naped Swift Streptoprocne semicollaris

Paul van Els
Version: 1.0 — Published February 8, 2013

Conservation

White-naped Swift apparently is fairly common over most of its range. Parker et al. (1996) considered the species of 'low conservation and research priority'.

BirdLife International (2012) considers the species of Least Concern due to its large geographci range, stable population trend, and great population size.

Effects of human activity on populations

No information, although logging of montane forests and cave disturbance/destruction probably could have negative consequences.
