White-throated Earthcreeper Upucerthia albigula

Demography and Populations

Introduction

The White-throated Earthcreeper is described as rare to uncommon (Ridgely and Tudor 1994, Schulenberg et al. 2007) or common (Jaramillo 2003), but there are no quantitative data on abundance, dispersal or demography. It also is possible that it is more common in the southern portion of its range (extreme southern Peru and northern Chile) than it is farther north.
