Vocalizations

The song is described as "a stuttering series of 4-10 slowly delivered (slow enough to count) sharp chit notes" (Jaramillo 2003); or as "an accelerating, rising-falling series of liquid chipping notes: 'tup tup chi-chi-chi-chi-chi' " (Lane in Schulenberg 2007). See Schulenberg (1987: 655) for a sonagram of this song. No other vocalizations have been described.
