Vocalizations

The vocalizations of White-tailed Hummingbird have not been described in detail. Calls of White-tailed Hummingbird include "a liquid to slightly buzzy, rolled chip, often run into rattled trills" (Howell and Webb 1995).

The song of White-tailed Hummingbird is described as "a high, rapid, slightly liquid to squeaky warbling, 2-8 s in duration" (Howell and Webb 1995).

There are few if any audio recordings of vocalizations of White-tailed Hummingbird.
