Very little information. Baepler (1962) found a nest in mid August in Guatemala; this nest contained two nestlings, and was in a slender oak, 1.2 m above the ground, near the end of a branch. Specimens in breeding condition are reported from Chiapas, Mexico in February (Howell and Webb 1995) and from El Salvador in October (Thurber et al. 1987).
