(Musophagidae; syn. Corythaixoides † Grey Go-away-bird C. concolor) Portmanteau of genera Colius Brisson 1760, mousebird, and Phimus Wagler, 1827, turaco; "Genus PHIMUS. Wagl. Sub-genus COLIPHIMUS. Bill short, compressed, margin of upper mandible obtusely angulated and notched near tip, culmen strongly arched from base; nostrils oblong, open; wings moderate, pointed, fifth quill longest, fourth and sixth equal; tail long, spreading, slightly rounded. Coliphimus concolor. Forehead surmounted by a large and pointed crest of decomposed feathers of the same dull grey colour as the rest of the body" (A. Smith 1836); "Coliphimus A.
