Corvus † Fan-tailed Raven C. rhipidurus) Gr. ῥις rhis, ῥινος rhinos nostrils; κοραξ korax, κορακος korakos raven < κρωζω krōzō to croak (cf. ῥινοκοραξ rhinokorax the name given to an unknown bird, perhaps a hornbill, seen by Alexander’s Macedonian infantry near a river in India); "[KEY] d''.
