Xenotreron

(Columbidae; syn. Ramphiculus Yellow-breasted Fruit Dove R. occipitalis incognitus) Gr. ξενος xenos  stranger; τρηρων trērōn, τρηρωνος trērōnos  pigeon  < τρεω treō  to flee in fear; "60. XENOTRERON INCOGNITA.   Ptilopus? incognita, Tweeddale, Ann. & Mag. N. H. ser. 4, vol. xx. p. 538 (December 1, 1877).  ...  The only example obtained by Mr. Everett is that of an immature female" (Tweeddale 1878); "Xenotreron Tweeddale, 1878, Proc. Zool. Soc.
