Thermochalcis

(Caprimulgidae; syn. Hydropsalis  White-tailed Nightjar H. cayennensis) Gr. θερμος thermos  hot, warm; χαλκις khalkis, χαλκιδος khalkidos  unidentified rapacious night bird; "Stenopsis Cassin, 1851, for a genus of neotropical Caprimulgidæ, is preoccupied by Stenopsis Rafinesque, 1815 (Analyse, p. 113), a genus of Coleoptera.   It may be renamed Thermochalcis * (type, Caprimulgus cayennensis Gmelin).   ...   * θερμος, warm; χαλκις, a night bird."
