Hydropsalis † White-tailed Nightjar H. cayennensis) Gr. θερμος thermos hot, warm; χαλκις khalkis, χαλκιδος khalkidos unidentified rapacious night bird; "Stenopsis Cassin, 1851, for a genus of neotropical Caprimulgidæ, is preoccupied by Stenopsis Rafinesque, 1815 (Analyse, p. 113), a genus of Coleoptera.
