In this revision, the Breeding section, as well as parts of the the Appearance, Movements and Migration, Diet and Foraging, Behavior, and Demography and Populations sections were revised by Robyn P. Geldard. In addition, content from two additional accounts originally published in Handbook of Birds of the World Alive (Red-headed and Gray-headed Tit) was merged into a single account for Black-throated Tit.
