Almost uniformly yellowish-olive green, except for the black forehead and the white eye-ring typical of its genus.

Possible confusion species: New Guinea White-eye (Zosterops novaeguineae).

Note, yellow throat and white underparts.

Possible confusion species: Black-fronted White-eye (Zosterops minor chrysolaemus).

Usually has black around the face and the yellow throat prominently demarcated from its white underparts.
