Distribution

It is endemic to Isla del Coco [Cocos Island], which is located in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, 532 km southwest from Cabo Blanco, continental Costa Rica. It occurs throughout the island, from sea level up to the highest elevations, above 400 m (1).
