Currently restricted to Andros Island in the Bahamas (3), but formerly also occurred on both Andros and Abaco (11); see Historical Changes.

Historical Changes to the Distribution

During the 1990s, the Bahama Oriole was extirpated from Abaco, though the reasons for its decline and extirpation there are not known (20, 8). It is currently only found on Andros.
